i just bought the units few weeks ago. i find up the units is @3%&*##*. easy to use, but u wont get very clear radio freq at 88-108Mhz. especially at 100Mhz and above. you can only transmit strictly at 144-148Mhz and 430-450Mhz. it quite difficult to control things on this rig. lots of buttons need to press even for simple thing eg. squech, to set second band freq., etc.
the screen doesn't seem nice compared to ft8800.
if you really want to buy this rig, get second opinion from the others. -dont simply buy..
