Creates a nice monoband SSB/CW QRP station

The PR-3S is a "system" mounting bracket for the Mizuho MX-xxS series SSB/CW monoband handhelds. The way the bracket works is that you take screws out of the side of the handheld, insert the HT into the PR-3S, and then screw the transceiver into the bracket. You then do the same for the CW-2S and the matching amplifier. The end result is a very nice monoband SSB/CW mobile/portable/mini-base station transceiver, particularly when you use an external key and/or the MS-1 speaker/mic. Of course, it's effectively no longer an HT, but it does make a very interesting and functional addition to a QRP ham shack. The picture shows an MX-7S/CW-2S/PL-7S 40m station setup this way.
The PR-3S is another inexpensive and very creative accessory Mizuho created for this series. I like to use my HTs as HTs, but a second MX-21S is something I am planning on, and I do intend on setting up 15 and 40 meter monoband stations this way. It's a neat little bracket.
