Great, if you have tubes!  Time owned: more than 12 months
I would give this little amp a "5" rating, except for the fact that it uses obsolete tv sweep-tubes (4), which don't last long, and are getting hard to find, and rather pricey! (around $40/ea.)

The unit is well built, looks very nice, and operates smoothly, putting out about 500w...as long as you have a good set of tubes in it. *BUT* No matter how gentle you are in the way you use this amp (I "babied" mine, always tuning it up quickly and carefully), sooner or later you are going to fry one or more of the light-duty 6MJ6 tubes! I believe 6LQ6's will also work in this rig.

Don't buy one unless it comes with plenty of spare tubes, or you plan to do a conversion to the Svetlana sweep-tube replacements! Otherwise, it's a sweet little amp...
