Old battle horse  Time owned: more than 12 months
In Brazil, the oldest industry than produced transceivers for hams, by initiative of its wistful founder Felicíssimo de Oliveira Junior, was the Delta Company. Maintaining respectful distance from the sophistication of the Japanese products, the Delta found offer to the hams a modest, but dependable alternative; with sufficient power to excuse a linear amplifier, without, however, be able to avoid that the relation benefit cost of its product went very lower to the equipment imported. Even so, with its slightly lower absolute price to the of him imported, and accessible for all hams, the transceiver Delta 500 became, to the long one from the years the "Volkswagen Beetle" of squares layers of hams, to that stayed grossly out of step in technology and price regarding the Japanese product.
