Great Balun  Time owned: more than 12 months
What a pity! Centaur has closed its balun operations. I have mine since 2001 and it works perfect since then.

It's Great and then some too!  Time owned: more than 12 months
I started out with this balun on my TGM-MQ3 and found it to exceed any other balun that I have used in the past. I retired the TGM and replaced it with a Force C3SS beam. This balun allows me to tune 6 meters no problem for a beam that is not rated for six.Construction is industrial grade. It is a great put up and forget item.

Can't beat Customer Service!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Purchased one of these to replace one of those phoney little white pvc baluns on my Cushcraft A3S beam. The beam calls for the coil of coax but I wanted a true current balun so got what I thought was the bullet proof one. This unit rated for 3KW. Charlie at the factory told me they had problems with one where a guy ran 5 KW for an hour through it. It comes with a lifetime warranty and serial number. I am having some intermittent connection problems after installing and will need to inspect this weekend. Charlie stated on phone if it is the balun he will ship me a new one and have the old one Fed EX'd back at his expense. Now how many ham product dealers are that customer friendly this day and age! Wish all my stuff had this kind of backing!

Turned out to not be the balun at all! Now that the intermittent connection has been taken care of all is working just great! This balun is working fine business and as I mentioned the customer service cannot be beat.

Lifetime Warranty  Time owned: 0 to 3 months

The Centaur B11Y10-15 1:1 Yagi Balun is supplied with its own serial number and Lifetime Warranty. It is built to withstand a lifetime of the most rigorous use, and does not rattle. Excellent.
