Nice scanner loaded with features  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
I owned a BC250D (without card) for almost a year. When I first got the 250D I had had a BC80XLT which is almost as basic as you can get. So stepping up to the 250D was a great expierence. The 1000 channels was more than enough for me. It tracked Moto Type II systems flawlessly for me. Great scanning speed, mil-air, etc. All in all a great scanner, can even pick up AM/FM Radio and certain TV channel Audio. When it was released, it was top of the line. I enjoyed using this scanner. However, once I bought the 246T when it was released, I sold my 250D just because I didn't use it anymore and I am saving for the BC396T.

I would recommend the 250D, it is a good scanner.
