Description: The Olympic Games of Amateur Radio!
Taking contesting into the international sports arena, this video provides a rare look at some of the world's most experienced operators all battling it out in an Olympic-style event.
Filmed by a team of six different cameramen and narrated by one of ESPN's top sportscasters, "WRTC Finland 2002" is one of the most complete contest videos ever produced.

I had already seen some of James' 9V1YC previous productions (VK0IR, ZL9CI) and those were really amazing when it comes to image and content.
But this video takes it even further. With all the digital equipment (camera, editing tools etc) that came on the market last years, the footage quality and the end result are even better.
Also the top notch editing and post production makes this video/DVD one hour of pure contesting entertainment. There are a lot of banners and graphics, so in the end it's a professional looking movie.
Enough about how it looks. The movie tells the story of WRTC2002. Arrival of the teams, meeting old and making new friends, the competition, the contest itself and post-contest meeting. You get to see the friendly world-wide hamspirit, but also the serious competition in contesting. In between, there are some nice images of the Finnish landscapes and contest QTH's.
I really like this DVD, and if you're into contesting, this is one way to spend an evening outside of the shack when conDX are down.
Even more fun if you can view it with fellow hams!
