Best feature set in its price range  Time owned: more than 12 months
This radio is a useful emergency radio to have at the cabin or in the trunk, and works good as a general purpose radio anytime. It receives the usual AM & FM bands as well as SW 4-24mhz, Aircraft, TV sound on channels 2-13, WX, and VHF.
It has five power sources including Solar panel, magneto crank, AC adapter, DC adapter, Ni-Cd batteries. Is lightweight enough to throw in a backpack. Reliability is good with components made by Sony and Toshiba (radio is made in China). They can be had for around $60 at http://www.solareagle.com
