The 'Lexus' of antenna switches!  Time owned: more than 12 months
This is a very reliable, solidly constructed, weighty 2-position antenna switch that reeks quality. It costs a little more than a 'Daiwa' and most other similar switches, but is well worth the cost. In fact, it has outlasted my 'Daiwa' 2-position switch, and has a little less loss on paper. In addition, whereas the 'Daiwa' and several other commercial switches aren't rated for frequencies higher than HF, the CX-210 is rated up to 1000 MHz! All in all, one of the BEST antenna switches on the market.

Solid Switch  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
This is one solid antenna switch. The switch is sturdy and well built. I haven't had more than 100 Watts of RF through it yet, bet I'm sure it can handle a lot more. The switch is pretty heavy, so it doesn't slide around on the operating bench, and the switch has a tactile feel to it. You can hear the switch "click" into place, so you know it's locked on the selected antenna. I can't wait to use this thing for Field Day this year. I plan on feeding two antennas with this switch. If you are in the market for a good quality antenna switch, spend the extra few bucks and go with the Diamond, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Good Value  Time owned: more than 12 months
I have one of these - goes from DC to 1000 Mhz at 1,500 Watts (mfg. rating). Has all SO-239 connections. Have used this on HF to switch devices to / from my TenTec tuner. Never had more than 200 Watts through it, but so far (~2 years) it's working fine. Feels solid and looks solid. Has a cast frame with holes for 2 mounting screws. The switch is seems heavy and moves with a definite tactile feel to it. When it's clicked into place, you know it. I've also got two of the 3 position switches, the CX310 as well see the review on those too.

Impressive  Time owned: more than 12 months
The Diamond CX210 antenna switch is an awesome piece of machinery. It's very well made and nicely finished. It is quite heavy and has three rubber feet on the bottom which prevent the unit from sliding around on your desk. The switch action is very positive and has nice feel and sound to it. It looks and feels like this thing is built to last for ever. In my system, it is used to select between vertical or horizontal antennas. I really like this switch.

The CX-210N with N connectors is also available for those who need a switch for the UHF bands.

Thanks go to Diamond Antenna Co. for building a very useful high quality accessory.

73 Rick.
