Great! No Problems
|
Time owned: more than 12 months

I purchased this new, so you know how long I've had it now. IT's never had any problems and works well on all bands. Receive is great and the audio is not bad out of the little hand-held speaker. It normally sits by my bed-side, but when the power dies or I go outside i comes along and has been very reliable over the years

Piece of Junk!
|
Time owned: 0 to 3 months

|
I recently purchased one of these handhelds off of ebay. I forgot to do some research before bidding on it. Anyway, this thing is deaf as a stump. I can't even hear my local pd only 6 miles away. The local weather channel only 10 miles away can only be heard if the squelch is turned completely off. Then it has a squeal on it. Don't be suckered by anyone trying to sell one of these peices of junk. If it worked halfway right the thing looks nice but as I said it's deaf as a stump.

Not good
|
Time owned: 6 to 12 months

Adequate (barely) handheld. Poor audio, poor receive. Can be computer programmed, but cumbersome. Mine died completely eventually.
A much better choice is the PRO-92.
