Very good transverter, I use it with an IC 290 D with 1 w in 144 Mhz like drive power. In this way I obtain 4 W or less output power. A real QRP!
Like receiver is very hot, I had to do an attenuator because sometimes the transverter overloads the IC 290 D. Now I am trying with a Kenwood TM 255 E with 5 W drive power.
The results are very good.....
I missed the operator manual, and I asked to Tokyo Hy Power a copy.... a friday in the night, incredible but real, saturday in the morning I received a mail, asking my details for send me the copy..... Two weeks later a copy was in my hands.... free...Greats!!
Other manufacturers should learn to treat better their clients ....
