Great tower
|
Time owned: more than 12 months
|
I was looking to replace my 40 foot Universal aluminum tower with a taller, heavier duty model.
I had two in mind. The HG-54HD and the HG-70HD.
Former Hy-Gain and Ten-Tec rep, Sid Kittrel (sk - W0LYM) talked me into the 70 foot model because it would provide more flexibility. It was a decision that I would not regret. It has been installed for 18 years now and has served me very
well. It is still in excellent condition and supports a 2L 40M yagi and a T8 LPDA stacked 13 feet apart.
