It Appears to be great....

Only had it a couple of months now and still using it as a study guide and missing alot. When I open the book and study a section at a time then I see it in a test session so I know that both are working just fine. I have many Ham friends that have used Hamtest and live by it. They have said without it they may never have passed and upgraded. So I am getting very anxious or as my wife pings on me I am getting very eager to pass the test and upgrade....so if you need a reason to get the Ham Test On-Line then just continue reading below.

I used Ham Test Online for about three weeks and was able to upgrade to Extra. Being ablt to study on the laptop at different locations was a real plua!

After studyng just 18 hours passed my tech and general with no other material. Tech took about 5 hour. General 13 hours. Took the test passed them both and missed 4 total out of 70 questions. Good luck!! I like it because therei s no software to install. just a web browser. No studying for EXTRA!!!

I passed the test for my Extra Class license today & I owe it all to HAM TEST ON-LINE. This is more than just learning the answers, you'll learn about the subject and it sticks with you so when you open that ARRL HANDBOOK, everything start to fall into place. Well I passed my Extra, so I can't complain, and HamTestOnline was quite helpful. HOwever towards the end of my studying I found I had to augment with outside tests, because I was being asked many of the same questions over and over (even ones I had never answered incorrectly) and there were about 25% that I had never encountered, either in study mode or in practice test mode. And yes, I did set the options correctly. I had this problem even when forcing studying a single chapter. There turn out to be good free resources out there that have better test coverage. However this resource was quite helpful, despite needing to supplement it.

Great Resource for Upgrading

As a business traveler, I used Ham Test Online in conjunction with the Gordon West CD's and passed Element 4 (Extra) without trouble after several months of study. It was really great to be able to study while waiting for flights, or in a hotel. Reinforcement of weak areas via repetitive questioning is super! Highly recommend this service to anyone looking to upgrade their licenses.
