Reviews Summary for MFJ 6 Foot Portable Antenna Stand
MFJ 6 Foot Portable Antenna Stand Reviews: 1 Average rating: 1.0/5 MSRP: $39.95
Description: This portable antenna stand will hold up to 75 pounds. The base covers an area of 500 square inches. It will extend to six feet tall and easily collapses -- the legs fold in and make it easy to slide in small diameter places. It\'s great for camping trips, dxpeditions, hiking, etc. The possibilities are endless for mounting ideas!

Right out of the box the nuts holding the legs were off. There is no way to secure them unless you use locktite or jam nuts. The thing was rusting inside the box when I received it!! The mast clamp is made of a type of plastic that I have seen before, but do not know the trade name of. I do know from past experence that type of plastic is not up to the task. This unit is a relabled PA speaker stand (The box is labled "speaker stand" and of course it is made in China. You can buy the same thing with better quality (although to be fair at a higher price) at a music or a store that specialises in pro sound equipment. I had this turkey special ordered so I am stuck with it. Buyer Beware!
