Audio RX  Time owned: more than 12 months

Good for the price!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
--(AT THE END, PORTUGUESE VERSION)--

I am using one for ham radio, I am satisfied. It didn't give any problems. I was surprised, because even being a very simple radio without all those resources of other HT's (with prices 2x, 3x or even 4x), it does almost everything that a good reliable HT VHF 2M needs to do.

Strong points:
- Simple using
- Programmable offset for use with repeaters (+ / -)
- Useful for professional or amateur
- TX/RX from 136 to 174MHz!
- Uses pack of batteries that can be ni-cd, common, alkaline or other
- Batteries have long duration. I used ni-cd 1100MHA for 4 days really using the radio!
- Light weight, but quite solid
- Good Antenna, with practical BNC connector
- Good audio and microphone
- Pre-adjusted squelch that works very well
- 5 watts power output

Weak points:
- Fit of the battery pack to the radio a little fragile
- It doesn't scan frequencies, only channels (40 channels maximum)
- It doesn't allow to use radio while charging battery with wall charger or car charger
- Front keyboard doesn't have light
- Documentation needs some help

In general, I recommend, good radio.
