What you get is the software on a 3 1/2 floppy and a serial port to IC-Q7A adapter cable. The software loaded on a Windows 98 machine without a hitch and within 15 minutes, I had the freqs rearranged to my liking. The instructions received were somewhat minimal, but the software is pretty intuitive so that was not a problem. I also tried Vlaski's freeware using the RT adapter cable and it worked as well, but I went back to the RT software because of ease of use. Just the adapter cable alone is worth it. I gave it a 4 because of the instructions.
