It works

I got this antenna about 1,5 years ago and added the 20 m option about 4 months after. Because it comes with a japanese manual it isn't easy to understand how to setup at first. I have it mounted on the tow hitch of the car because it is WAY TOO HEAVY for the trunk mount (especially with 40 m on top, which makes the antenna about 1.8 m tall)! On the tow hitch 40 m and 15 m work, 10 m radiates against the back of the car (radiator is mounted top down!) so is pretty useless and 20 m interferes with the radio (FT-857). Finally 2m and 70 cm work well ;-). So far I have only been able to work some stations on 15 m while driving high up in the mountains in Northern Italy, so I guess we need some mountains over here too for it to work.

Heavy & not flexible

Heavy and not flexible. Is it really mobile?
Small screws easily drive crazy.
High finishing level.

Excelent!

As everything from Diamond, this antenna is no exeption in quality.
Assembly is straight forward (about 0,5-1 hour, without tuning), despite the supplied japanese sheet omits measurements so it becomes a bit hard to identify elements.
I use it together with the optional HVC14CX coil for 10 and 14 Mhz.
