Replaced the Aircom+ cables for 2 and 70
Remarkable improvement, lengths here between 70 to 80 feet.
Use the Aircom+ now for the 3 element 50 Mhz beam, and on H.F.
Shopping around pays off, prices do vary here, as well of the connectors.

I have been looking for a flexible alternative to the Heliax LDF4-50, and the FSJ4-50 that Andrews make for some time now then came across this.
It is made from a stranded 7 core copper center, LLC-PE foam dielectric and a PE backed copper foil, and copper braid. It is so flexible its unreal it goes around the rotator without a problem. The performace is not much under that of LDF4-50 so its good upto 6Ghz. Its basicly the European equiv of LMR600 which is expensive to get in the UK and the connectors are solderless and are very easy to fit, takes about 10mins and no special tools!! UK importer is DIODE COMMUNICATIONS goto www.diodecomms.co.uk for more info.
