Great Portable Antenna  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
I bought an EF20,30,40 for portable use and these things work great. No tuning needed it was ready to go. I use a Jackite 31FT telescoping mast and I ca n be up and operating in under 3 minutes. For a portable setup these guys can't be beat. Dale Par was always quick to get back to any questions I had. The other day when I put the ef20 up I was answered by a JA3 on the first call. I hope he has a 80 meter version out soon...

EF-20  Time owned: more than 12 months
Used the EF-20 during the CQWW DX SSB 2009 contest. Assembled the wire on a 30ft fishing pole and then mounted on the top of a 15ft pole to get the whole thing off the ground. Also ran 2x1/4 wave counterpoise wires at 115 degrees ungrounded. With 100 watts worked 900 stations, 30 zones and 95 countries. This antenna is nothing short of amazing. For portable operations, it can't be beat.

EF-40 Review  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
After reading all the excellent reports on the PAR antennas, I decided to try out the EF-40. Easy to tune and very forgiving in regard to installation, the performance when compared to my existing commercially made broadband antenna is like ‘night and day’. This antenna seems quieter (background noise) on receive and when I tuned around, I was amazed at to the activity on the band. I know my old broadband antenna offered the convenience of 4-30MHz but the compromise in performance (I know now) was significant. It is a great product and the customer service received from Dale was exceptional.

EF-40 an excellent antenna  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
My QTH required an end fed antenna, and I was delighted to find Par Electronics and their end fed half wave antennas. The installation was quick and easy, and I was able to get on the air with no problems at all.It has lived up to my high hopes for it. Making contacts has been easy, and I get 5-9 signal reports consistently.

I have the antenna in less than ideal circumstances. One end is about 12 feet off the ground and the other is about 20 feet. Even in these close to the ground conditions I am able to make plenty of contacts.

The customer service at Par Electronics is extraordinary. I was able to get my questions answered in a very prompt way. They value their customers

If you are looking for an end fed half wave antenna you need look no further than Par Electronics.

Review of EF-40  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I purchased and installed an EF-40 antenna between two trees (13-15 feet above ground) in my back yard. The antenna was easy to install with the hangers provided and is stealthy in appearance. I transmit at 100 watts. I get good voice and signal strength reports from my northcentral location in the USA. I purchased the EF 40 antenna to work the states around my
location. I am very happy with this antenna.

Outstanding products and service  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I received my PAR 6 & 10M ENDFEDZ just in time to enjoy a nice band opening today. They were easy to get up into a tree in the backyard where they will be invisible to the deed restriction Taliban. The quality and construction of the PAR products is clearly top drawer. Moreover, Dale’s customer service is without equal. Dale discovered that I had overpaid on the freight, so he placed a refund check in the package! Dale has made me more than a satisfied customer. He has made me a LOYAL customer.

EF20 End Fed Zepp by Par Electronics  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
My new EF20 end fed antenna slopes from 25 to 35 feet and was extremely easy to install and tune. It's performance has far exceeded my expectations. First contact was a 4L4WW in Obcha, Georgia running only 100 watts. Many contacts to Italy and Spain followed. I highly recommend this product to anyone with limited space or for easy portable operation

PAR EF-30  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I recently received my third PAR Electronics End Fedz antenna, an EF-30. As has occurred each time in the past, the reflected power is almost zero and the construction is top notch.

Additionally, they have redesigned the wire support at the feed line end of the antenna. My EF-40 and EF-20 antenna wires are attached directly to a stainless steel bolt on the small matchbox while the new EF-30 has been designed so that there is no load (no strain) on the antenna wire connection. Ingenious.

Great antenna  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I just got back into ham radio after a 7 year absence. I live in a neighborhood with antenna restrictions so I needed an "in cognito" antenna. I got the 40 meter end-fed dipole. I am running it from a second floor deck to a high fence at the end of my lot. With the hi gauge black wire and no feed line hanging from the middle the antenna is basically invisible I have been working 40 cw with it and am astounded by the results. It's not that high off the ground and I have even been working some DX at night and getting 599 reports. Most of the time I get hihger reports than I am giving. I highly recommend the antenna.
