EF20 End Fed Zepp by Par Electronics  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
My new EF20 end fed antenna slopes from 25 to 35 feet and was extremely easy to install and tune. It's performance has far exceeded my expectations. First contact was a 4L4WW in Obcha, Georgia running only 100 watts. Many contacts to Italy and Spain followed. I highly recommend this product to anyone with limited space or for easy portable operation

PAR EF-30  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I recently received my third PAR Electronics End Fedz antenna, an EF-30. As has occurred each time in the past, the reflected power is almost zero and the construction is top notch.

Additionally, they have redesigned the wire support at the feed line end of the antenna. My EF-40 and EF-20 antenna wires are attached directly to a stainless steel bolt on the small matchbox while the new EF-30 has been designed so that there is no load (no strain) on the antenna wire connection. Ingenious.

Great antenna  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I just got back into ham radio after a 7 year absence. I live in a neighborhood with antenna restrictions so I needed an "in cognito" antenna. I got the 40 meter end-fed dipole. I am running it from a second floor deck to a high fence at the end of my lot. With the hi gauge black wire and no feed line hanging from the middle the antenna is basically invisible I have been working 40 cw with it and am astounded by the results. It's not that high off the ground and I have even been working some DX at night and getting 599 reports. Most of the time I get hihger reports than I am giving. I highly recommend the antenna.

This antenna flat out works!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I've only had the EF-20 for a few weeks, but it flat out works! Hands down working with Dale was the best transaction I've ever been involved in. He answered my initial request for information on a Sunday afternoon (the guy never rests...really!) and we exchanged several emails. I had the antenna within about a week, just in time for the NAQP contest. I'm a newcomer to contesting, but nabbed eight states, beginning with a 5-9 from Wisconsin, as well as two Canadian provinces. And I recently had my first DX contact....a 5-9 from Portugal! This antenna hears well and it gets out well. I tried several configurations, but found the best was the feed end at about four feet off the ground and the other about 30 feet up in a tree. But, really, this antenna doesn't care where you hang it...it flat out works! Thanks, Dale, for a quality product and top notch customer service! You have a customer for life.

Excellent  Time owned: more than 12 months
I have been using the 40M, 20M, 10M and 6M models for many years now, mostly while traveling. They work great. I have never experienced any problems with them. Since the antennas are end fed it is easy to hook them up at a hotel room window and attach the end to a tree or even simply just let it hang out the window.

There are very few vendors out there that are as responsive or care about their product as much as Dale does. He is terrific to deal with.

My wish list includes a 60M version and a 75M version. I know that Dale gets tied up with government contracts, but I think these would be big sellers if he can get around to designing and producing them.

If you are looking for a well-made end fed antenna and are not running a large amplifier, the Par end-fed antennas are perfect.

The best  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Have received an antenna few hours ago. Cut off 200 mm during antenna tuning and have resonance at 14.150 in any wire position. Fine job :-) No tuner needed, no mast, no problems at all!

Great response when I needed it NOW  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I had need of an endfed 20 in a short period of time because of a trip that came up. Dale said he was tight due to other orders but managed to get it to me sooner than it should have been possible. He goes the extra mile for his customers if it's possible.

And the antenna works great, too!

The best wire antenna  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
The week of July 4th, we ran the "13 Colonies" special event. I was K2A in NY. I used a par EF-20/300w and a par EF-40/200w.. Both antennas worked superbly..I logged over 1200+ contacts with the antennas being up only 30 feet in a tree. Wait untill August when they resume production and dont settle for an imitation. Dale Parfit told me that they may consider a 75/80m version in 2010. The poster that stated that these antennas are "Costly" must be refering to someone elses offerings. They are quite reasonable and perform great. I am waiting for the 75m to come out. I will be the first customer. Ken-KU2US
