Incredible Front End  Time owned: more than 12 months
The Trio JR-599 Custom Special amateur bands receiver is in the same stable as the Kenwood R-599/T-599 sepearates of the seventies.

It came fully fitted with all the cw/ssb filters and both the 6M and 2M conveters. It has selectivity settings of 0.5, 2.5, 5 and 25K. The receiver front end is incredible and will not seem to overload easily. The brushed aluminium front panel is silver in colour.

This is one of the best examples of Trio/Kenwood ham gear and I would not part with my receiver for all the money in the world.
