Well-built, does the job.  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
We are using a VHFTN 152-158 on our repeater, which lives on the same tower as two 500 watt pager transmitters! The PAR filter was custom-built and tuned to the exact frequencies that need to be notched out.

This is top-grade equipment, professional quality in every respect. Our results are perfect - hand-held radios 17 miles from the repeater can be heard nearly full-quieting and mobile range has been greatly increased, now that the desense is gone.

I recommend PAR filters for any radio installation in a high RF environment.

Intermod Killer  Time owned: more than 12 months
I have been using this unit for about 8 years in an area infamous for pager interference. At times I forget there even is such a thing as intermod thanks to the PAR filter. If pager towers are ruining your 2M experience the premium PAR filter is worth the money. It is the Intermod Killer!

Knocks out the Pagers!  Time owned: more than 12 months
If you are looking for a filter that easily connects to your radio and that will knock out the annoying pager tones that bleed over into the VHF band, then look no farther. Parr filters will do the job. I have the 3 cavity VHF TN 152 - 158 and it complately filters out the pager signals that would come in over many of my favorite VHF repeater freqs in my mobile. I wanted a filter that did it's job but would not attenuate the signal. The VHF TN 152 - 158 fills the bill. You won't even know it is in line with your antenna until you drive past that darn tower with the pager antenna on it and your VHF radio stays in scan mode as you drive by. It works really well in knocking out the pagers transmitters in the 150mhz area of the band.
