Comprehensive  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
This is an outstanding application that will be appreciated by SERIOUS DXers and propagation afficianados. It is quite complicated and must be studied at length to appreciate the results. It is not for the casual user!!. Casual users should look closer at his GeoAlert Wizard program. Jim Tabor provides excellent support and will quickly help those in need.

It works  Time owned: more than 12 months
I've used this software for a couple of years with great results. This is a friendly interface to the VOACAP engine, which works, with very clear graphics and reports, a must to say the least.
Serious DXers will love this sofware.

Very, very good  Time owned: more than 12 months
I've owned and used this particular piece of software since WinCAP Wizard II. Wizard III is a little different in that the developer decided to switch from IONCAP to VOACAP as the analysis engine.

The program is complex and does have a learning curve. I'm convinced if you don't have to spend some time learning how to use a piece of software it's utility has to be questioned. Some "easy" propagation prediction software just plain doesn't work and you'd do better tossing a coin.

I give the software a rating of 5 because it does what it's suppposed to do, and it does it better than anything else on the market.

EXCELLENT  Time owned: more than 12 months
I have tried many of the freeware and shareware programs of Propagation. I decided to spend a few bucks and am glad I did. This software is Outstanding. There is no other like it. It is extremely accurate. It even computes what the receiving station signal strength should be and it is right on the money! Seems complicated at first but spend a little time with it and you will not be sorry.

Program allows one to analyze three types of predictions. A point to point prediction, a beacon type of prediction, and a user batch prediction. Excellent manual and it also has a tutorial to get to the meat of the program.

If this is not enough, Jim, the owner of TaborSoft, will throw in a free software program which usually compliments the WinCap Wizard program. A $30.00 value. Jim also provides excellent customer service. Emails sent to him have had replies within hours.

If you are looking for an excellent propagation program based on the Voice of America Propagation Engine this is the tool. This is for scheduling weeks, months in advance and a great tool for the DX'er. Many graphs and charts and various ways to "manipulate" the program. The program will run in conjunction with GeoAlert.

Try it. You wont be sorry. I have no affiliation with TaborSoft. Just a great piece of software for the shack.
