Does the job

I installed the DRU-2 in my TS-2000X without incident. My only gripe is that the VOX must be enabled for the DRU to key the radio. Why didn't they design it like ICOM's built in keyers and activate the PTT line directly?

The DRU-2 voice keyer/recorder for the Kenwood TS-950SDX is the best sounding DVK that I have heard on an HF rig. Easy use. Simplicity and quality all in one!
