Description: CMOS MEMORY KEYER, compact, full-featured memory keyers that employ CMOS microprocessor technology for low cost and high reliability. In contract to other advanced keyers, its control requires neither a myriad of switches and knobs nor complicated keypad sequences. Instead, commands are simply SENT to the keyer IN MORSE code using your paddles!

great keyer

The ETM9COG-X3 is similar as the Logikey K5 Keyer because the Microcontroller that is used in the ETM9COG-X3 is programmed by from IDIOM-Press. The ETM9COG-X3 comes also with the original documentation released by IDIOM Press and a good german xlation.
The is one big different between ETM9COG-X3 and K5-Keyer - the price. K5 costs $58, the ETM9COG-X3 € 149.- without tax.
The keyer is the best i ever owned, thats shure.

I have tried several keyers, e.g. AEA and Star. I like the ETM9COB-X3 the best. This keyer has some very nice features like the commands who can be entered by using your paddles!
E.g: you can check the exact speed of your setting, by sending 'S' in morse code after you push the function keys 5+6. The memory keyer will answer with the speed in morse code. Very nice.
Very important is that the ETM9COG-X3 gives very good and solid morse code signals. I like the "character" of this keyer.
It is a very good keyer during contests!
I can highly recommend this keyer to anyone who likes CW.
