This is a honeymoon review which might need updating, but I doubt it.
Amazing!! for the less than half price of most other 3-500z tubes. It comes with a full one-year warranty and a 2-year prorated warranty.
I recently bought a new Ameritron! L-80b which uses a 3-500zg tube now and while learning how to operate the amp, I made a few mistakes, like forgetting to turn the power from 100 watts when I was tuning the amp for just about every band on my radio and amp. I then made a few more mistakes during the first few days and the amp, and the tube are still doing 1 Kw or better on all bands except 12m.
I have heard these are remarkable tubes made in china with the same quality as many of the more expensive tunes.
If for any reason I need to do another review after a few months I will return to make sure the info I’m putting out on these tubes is as accurate as possible.
