definate recommendation  Time owned: more than 12 months
I have owned the HL-250UDX more than year, it works well, protection for high swr, accidental input overdrive and over heating works exellently. The thermal fans keeps every thing cool and noise is very low. Power output is more than the specified 250 watts using a 13.8 volt 100 amp power supply,it works well on fm, fsk441, ssb
build quality is exellent same as the HL-350VDX,inside both the vhf and uhf amps the layout and design is better than most solid state amps i have seen or owned.I give this amp a 5 .One can gladly purchase this amp and the vhf brother HL-350VDX. For moble and field station work this is the amps to work with.Mr Nobuki is the gentleman to speak to when ordering from Japan,he is always willing and goes out of his way to help you.Thank you Mr Nobuki THP and staff
