Pretty good

Time owned: more than 12 months

I have 2 of these up here in Maine and they have worked fine. I stripped one hole during assembly and just left it. The element stayed in and it has been 2 years. I would not use copper flashing in contact with the unknown metals in this inexpensive antenna. You'll have noisy diodes up there shortly. Good antenna for cheap money.

Could be excellent but

This antenna performs very well but unfortunatly, after being up for a short time, the center spider (made of pot metal) that all the drooping elements screw into began stripping the threads in the tapped holes due to wind movement. I was able to wrap the threads with copper flashing material and force them back and they are holding. Company would not help me when I called other than say I would need to contact the manufacturer in some far away land.

Rust, lots of rust

Antenna performs nicely and is of sturdy construction. Unfortunately, the locknuts are made of some kind of pot metal and rust quickly. Rust stains look great on a white roof.
