Stealthy & Effective!  Time owned: more than 12 months
I've had one of these little gems for over a year now, using it first with a FT-90R and currently with an FT-8800R. Handles up to 50 watts without a hitch. Truly amazing gain (2.15 Dbi)for all of its 14 inches. I work in Boston and the cellular-antenna similarity has apparently deterred theft in some less-than-desirable areas - or I've just been plain lucky all this time! At about $40, you really can't get such a remarkable low-profile dual-band antenna.

Small but powerful!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
A great antenna for those with overhead clearance problems. I've got mine mounted on a trunk deck; no problems in even the shortest of garage door openings.

Peformance on 2 meters and 70 centimeters has thus far been outstanding! Coverage is a good, if not better, than my Diamond NR770NMO which is twice as long.

Good value for the dollar!

Outstanding!  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
I just recently purchased this duel band antenna to use on a roof mounted NMO mount. This little wonder has a 1/4 wave on 2 meters providing 2.15 db gain and when using 440, it has a 1/2 wave providing 2.15 dB gain. This little antenna will take up to 100 watts and the VSWR is less than 1.5:1. In my local area, it looks alot like a cell phone antenna which decives would-be thieves, and does not stand out. I can hit all the local repeaters just fine, and kicking 50 watts through it, I am able to communicate simplex as if I was standing outside the other vehicle I'm talking to. A very reasonable price, and a small footprint with alot of go!

BEATS ALL SHORT DUALS  Time owned: more than 12 months
FANTASTIC LITTLE ANTENNA!!
JUST OVER A FOOT IN LENGTH!
$39.95 MOST STORES
SLIGHTLY LESS PERFORMANCE THAN A QUARTER WAVE ON 2 METERS.
EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE ON 440MHZ
UNLIKE MOST SMALL DUAL BANDERS, THIS ONE ISN'T JUST A 2 METER QUARTER WAVE MARKETED AS A DUAL BANDER!!
