Very nice mid range meter
|
Time owned: 0 to 3 months

This meter is not a "cheapee", BUT it fits my needs VERY well.
It reads AC and DC voltages up to 600 volts.
It reads current up to 10 AMPS - that is a very nice feature.
My specific needs are caused by my poorish vision and the fact that I love to monitor the exact condition of my Nmh recharged batteries. This meter gives you three digits to the right of the decimal point when measuring single cells - like you can see that the cell is "1.283" volts and compare it with the other cells in the set seeing how close they are to each other.
Regarding my vision - the display is nice and large - very easy reading.
The meter itself is built like a tank - very solid, and the control knob has a very nice feel to it. The meter comes with a rubber housing for protection which also is quite nice - it even lets the meter stand up.
In short - I like it... I like it alot.
