poor design  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
The first one I bought through HamStop did not resonate on 2 meters at all. Hamstop was happy to swap it out. The second one had an SWR of 2:1 at 145 Mhz and went sharply up across the band. 440 was ok.
I originally bought 2 "no name" mini-magmount at Dayton in the same basic footprint and both were flat SWR across the bands. When one was vandalized I bought the IronHorse to replace it. Comparing the two, the coil is smaller and tighter on the IronHorse which appears to be a design defect. I find the SWR unacceptable.
