Perfect for the traveling ham
|
Time owned: 3 to 6 months
|
This panel is light weight, very tough and a reasonable size for 1.2A at 17VDC -- perfect for charging your 12V lead-acid battery.
I purchased mine to run my Elecraft K2 in the field and it works great for that.
The cells are mounted to a metal plate and sealed to it, so it's waterproof. Four grommeted mounting holes are provided for easy mounting, I just lay mine flat on a table.
Weight: 4.5 pounds
Size: 19.5 x 17.5"
Also available in 5, 10 & 30Watt panels.
I highly recommend this panel for QRPers and others wanting to charge 12V cells.
