Good but a bit bulky  Time owned: more than 12 months
I use these on my Orion. Stereo/mono line switch is very helpful. I can hear one receiver in both ears or seperate the receivers in each ear. Quality is excellent. Isolation is very good. Very comfortable. The ear cup volume control is fine but offers little practicle use. The weight is much less than hi-fi stereo phones (15 oz) but could be lighter. Impedance is a high 60 ohm so watch out when you pull the plug from the radio; your volume from your speaker will make you jump for that AF control.

I Love 'em  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
XYL complained that lightweight phones would not stay put on her head. She preferred my Koss Pro4AA phones, but we only had one set. Decided to try something new. These are lighter and have the same (except for color) headband design. They keep outside noise out of your ears much more effectively (I would guess 6 to 10 dB more isolation) than the Pro4AA. The stereo/mono switch in the cord is a potential point of failure, but could be handy with some rigs. Volume control also nice if two headsets "t"ed to same source. Does not have boom mic attaching stud. Comes with 3.5 mm phone plug and adaptor for 6.4 mm (1/4 inch) which is handy for many new rigs, yet another possible point of failure. Mfrs specs say LF only down to 40 Hz compared to 10 Hz on Pro4AA, you'll never miss the bass for communications use.
