Excellent Product  Time owned: more than 12 months
I use a "Battery Tender" to charge my various SLA's, boat batteries, etc.,
and can say it works very well. It automatically adjusts charge rate and when full charge occurs it shifts to "float" charge. It has a red and a green led and when connected to a discharged battery the red led lights. When the voltage reaches a useable (but not full charge)level the red and green alternately flash, the green stays lit when fully charged....couldn't be simpler to use.

I bought mine approx 10 yrs ago from a vendor at a
motorcycle swap meet, paid $40.00 new in the box, but it was the sort of transaction where you paid cash and got the goods but no reciept, etc. About 1 yr ago it conked out.....I had no reciept or warranty card but anyway sent it to the manufacturer, Deltran Co., to be checked out .....they sent me a brand new
unit, no questions asked. Will I buy another Battery Tender?....YES!. Deltran is
the kind of company that stands by their product!
