Nice

This is a very nice transverter and matches my FT-107s. Like all the Yaesu FTV range switching is automatic and it very easy to use.
I have all three modules 2M 6M and 70cm modules and this is really why I gave it a 4. You can only fit 2 modues (the 70cm and 2M or 70cm and 6M at any one time).
The 107 profile sort of determines this and I would have awarded it a 5 if only it could take the 2 and 6m modules at the same time.
I may modify mine for this but it seems a shame Yaesu didn't consider this at the time.
That said if you have an FT-107 and would like to use it on V/UHF this is a safe buy.

Recently picked up this transverter to add to my vintage FT107 lineup. Previously owned an FTV-700 transverter so I am a little familar with the Yaesu learning curve. Operation couldn't be simpler, adjust your drive level according to the meter then tune for highest output. Will cover entire 6m, 2m, and 440 bands with appropriate modules installed. Receive sensitivity is nothing short of spectacular. Interfaces to the FT-107M with one cable, which disables the 107's finals so you don't have to worry about damaging the transverter. Reports on 2m SSB from local hams are very good. Don't pass one up it you come across it, the entire FT-107 line is a very rare find these days.
