It's a sensitive receiver with many, many flexible selections. I finally found a used AR7000 and my search was rewarded with a great radio! I heard that AOR had to stop making this radio simply because it was too expensive to market at a competitive price. True or not, I believe it! It's very sensitive among MOST of its receive range, isn't susceptible to intermod and has very little phase noise!
