Update after 2 months

I felt I needed to update my last review. This is one sturdy amplifer. I am now running CCS mode on EME, yes, a full 1500 watts output without even taxing the amplifier. JT65A is 1 minute tx and 1 min rx. A typical QSO can be 30-40 minutes until both sides decode all the required messages. This amplifier can take it all with about 1kw more to spare (but never used). I spoke to Commander and they indicated that the VHF-2000 was designed for a Max output of 2.5kw. So running at 1.5kw CCS is not an issue. I highly recommend this amp to any contester and EME enthusiast.
