My first SW radio...  Time owned: more than 12 months
This little radio was my first SW radio. I bought it around 1995 and it introduced me to the BBC, Radio Australia, Deutche Welle, and more. The construction is actually quite strong. It is mfd in China, but has a nice metal speaker grill, sturdy slide switches, and great sound. However, it's whip antenna is only 20", only has 5 station presets, and only tunes in increments of .xx5. There's no SSB either. The radio does have a DX/Local switch and a HI/LO tone switch. My personal opinion is this is a nice little backup radio and I won't part with mine for sentimental reasons even though I also own a YB-400 and SW7600GR.
