Bought mine a little over a year ago. Use it with a Kenwood TM-D700A for APRS. Outstanding performance. Works better when you install an external antenna (found one for $20 on ebay!). Has 3000 waypoints and software updates on Garmin's website. Only bad thing is it uses Garmin memory cards, not SD cards like some GPS's. Software is great and all the APRS stations show up on the color screen. You can even mark the stations as cars for mobile or houses or radio beacons for digi's. Wish they had not discontinued. A lot cheaper than other color screen gps's and not a huge chunk that is hard to find a mounting space for. I think it was all you could ask for with running APRS in a mobile!
