DuraComm DPS-55 is a 55 amp, 13.8 VDC switch mode power supply. This unit is 120 VAC input with Low AC voltage shutdown. DC output is set for 13.8 VDC or 14.4 if you are using it for battery charging. Voltage regulation is +/- 1%. The unit has forced air cooling and very low RF interference output. Very suitable for HF transceivers. I use this unit to power all my HF transceivers and VHF/UHF radios. The units fan only comes on after the duty cycle exceeds 70 %. The unit has a fused output, over temp. protection and weighs only 7 lbs. It can be mounted in any position. Working temp is -10 deg. C to +50 deg. C. Output ripple is <100mv. I bought the unit from Electro-Comm at 1-800 994-4455 in Denver. They have units up to 90 amps output. I have not been able to hear any interference on any of my radios.
