What a great product!  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
I bought the VX-2 and was looking for a suitable programming interface. A friend recommended this product by AME and I must say I was positively surprised with what I received! Super quick delivery, very professionally packed and it works just as advertised. I got the version in the enclosure and can fully recommend the unit! Forget programming your VX-2 without this engeniously made device, once you tried it you won't want to miss it!!
AME offers a fully professional, quick and friendly service togehter with a really GREAT product -- what more can you ask for?? Keep up the good work!

Excellent VX-2 interface  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Bought the unit to allow me to programme the VX-2 memories. Very impressed with the build standard and the ease of using it "out of the box". Used "Google" to quickly translate the German installation guide but it was very simple to set up. Mine was the boxed version (really well made) which was just over 40 in the UK and delivered in just a few days.

good  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Hi,
first please excuse my bad english.
I bought the Interface (pcb version without case) for my VX-2E.

The contact with AME was by phone and very sympatic.
Like i bought it quiet short before my half-year trip to spain i was very happy that AME was so quick that i received the interface in less than 2 days.

The Interface comes "ready to go" with all you need! - you only have to connect it to the receiver an PC - install the supplied soft and you are ready to go.

The fabrication quality is excellent with 3 Status LED's.
It's cheap on cost and excellent in quality :)
It was an excellent investment and for the price of the ex-stock module it doesn't make any sense building one yourself.

I love my radio and managing memories with the interface on PC makes the 1000 Memories easy to handle - wouldn't want to live without it.

EASY  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Received very quickly from Germany

Quality excellent - smd leds for power, tx and rx - USB connector for standard cable and a four pin (molex type) pcb connector for the radio cable.

I connected up the USB cable to PC, plugged in Yaesu VX2R cable (supplied) installed XP driver from supplied cd and was up and running with Commander software :-)

Alex is very quick to respond to emails and produces commercial quality products

I saved money by opting for the ex-stock module and will put the tiny pcb into a Maplins box, however the module is available cased/housed.

First Rate - very pleased
