Nifty Japanese Made Meter!  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
These are made made in Japan, and are apparently very hard to find. I still appreciate quality Japanese engineering, and the SP-10X is solid as expected. Bright painted fonts (easy to read), and meter appears accurate (older MFJ-249 used for SWR comparisons). I lucked-up & acquired my SP-10X when purchasing a ft-470 from someone who threw it in with the package. Finding the one sheet manual is even more difficult, I ended up purchasing the manual online. If you do find this meter, don't waste your money on the manual, it's basically just an overview of self-explanatory functions. Great & Nifty Meter if you can find one, and does its job nicely, takes up very little space, and easy to carry along in your pocket.
