Bought TWO of these for Dayton hamfest prep. The battery cover pulled off one BRAND NEW one when I tried to check it out (poor solder joints). I emailed and asked for a replacement battery cover (a simple metal U shaped item to friction-fit the button battery in place) and their "customer service" guy said that they would NOT replace it without sending in the "original receipt." As I don't keep receipts for items that look bombproof and are under $40, I'm out of luck. Simply screwed. Out $40. No help, nothing. This defines crappy customer service. Stay WAYYYY away from these guys.
