Update to Previous Review  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I resolved what was called a leakage problem by setting a jumper properly. This was my goof, not the product's. The unit has no hearable leakage now.

I have the Frequency Agile version of Pocket Tracker. The excellent instructions on the Freq Agile part goes into the formulas used by the PLL chip. Using this formula I was able to calculate new values and reduce my freq error from -2400 to +230. This is much better and acceptable. It is better than having to deal with tiny chip caps.

Neat Kit  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
This kit is pretty neat. It was the first kit that I ever built. It works pretty well too! I have it in my truck for my APRS beacon. For an antenna I used a Wilson 5/8 wave mag mount. The PocketTracker is a QRP transmitter (less than a quarter watt, actually) so don't expect to get a beacon out too far. I would estimate that I get out about 10 miles.
