Reviews Summary for JBC AD 2700
JBC AD 2700 Reviews: 1 Average rating: 5.0/5 MSRP: $399
Description: Control unit AD 2700 is the basic control unit that allows operation alternatively with a 20w or 50W soldering iron, covering all electronics soldering requirements.
The stand for the soldering iron is integrated with the control unit and is intelligent which means it is aware when the soldering iron is in the stand and reduces the temperature, remaining in the sleep cycle. The stand incorporates a tip extractor/inserter, which allows the use of two types of tip.
For temperature control and other characteristics, a microprocessor is used enabling the AD2700 to offer a high productivity and the lowest cost of ownership ever.
Product is in production.

For Pros Only  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
Just a wonderful product. Superfast heat up and recovery.
The Iron handpiece is very lightweigth and well designed.
Also for it small size, it packs a hell of a puch, I think specs said 140W.
Tips last a long time, apparently due to the integrated sleep function.
The only drawback I could find was its price, which it is high, so I guess this tool is for professional users and power users.
