The Classic Technician!!!

John is one of those rare technicians from a generation bygone that I learned from and eventually became in my Navy days.
His troubleshooting is spot-on; his service is unmatched; but his concern for my satisfaction after the FT-990 was shipped back to me makes him unique in the shrinking pool of talented and ethical amateur radio repair businesses.
If you need professional analysis of your problem or the eventual repair, in terms of quality, personal interest and effective repair, there are none better than John in the USA!

Geat Service and Repair Work!!

John (LPC Wireless) did a great job of repairing my Kenwood 2000. His turn around time was nothing short of miraculous even allowing for the intervening Christmas and New Year Holidays. His repair fee was very very reasonable, and probably should have been twice what he charged. He was readily available when I needed to talk to him either online or via the phone. He promptly returned all calls and emails. Additionally, he returned my radio so well packed that the box seemed like it was "up-armored." I highly recommend John for his high quality repair work, superb service, fair prices, honesty, and integrity. He is definitely a class act!!! Mitch KI4TSI

John repaired my Yaesu FT-1000MP Mark V that took a direct lightning strike via the CAT port and it works as good as new! It had extensive damage,foil traces lifted off the audio board,17 small electrolytic capacitors, 4 Integrated circuits,a relay, several diodes,numerous resistors, and both of the BLF-147 field effect transistor finals all blown and he fixed it all and at a reasonable price too! I'm just tickled to death with it! John is my technician from here on out as long as he's repairing radios! He also kept in touch with me throughout the entire repair process via email or telephone and the radio was returned to me as clean as a pin and in mint condition with no scratches or any cosmetic damages! I highly recommend John to anyone!

My 990's back!

radio. Power supply was stone dead and now is like new. Couldn't be more impressed.

On the recommendation of a friend, I sent my TS 940 off to John for repair. He overhauled the whole rig! The price was VERY resonable! Don't ever hesitate to go to John if your beloved rig needs help! Very satisfied customer!

Fixed an lightening struck FT 950 
|

What can I say the, my FT 950 took a hit and was dead!!! I sent an email about services, a quick response was recieved, I sent it in knowing there were a few rigs on the bench ahead of me.
in less than a month I had my rig back and its working like new, very good rates, prompt service and response. I recommend LPC to all my HAM buddies. Very satisfied with service!!!!

Excellent Service

John worked on a Kenwood TS-850S that was destroyed by a power surge due to lightning. After many parts and lots of work he sent me back the radio in superb condition. Never has this radio looked or worked like it did when I got it back! Super clean! Unfortunately, about two weeks after I got it back I lost transmit audio. Things like this are expected because other components can weaken and go bad after taking such a major power spike. Well, I emailed John to see if he had any suggestions to get the rig back on the air. Instead, what he did next showed me that he really cares about his business and customer service. He had me ship it back to him on his dime! He found a bad DDS chip (which was his last one) and once again sent the radio back to me. With Service and excellent work like this, John will never need to advertise. Everyone who has used him will gladly do it for him. Yes, he is that good of a tech and a great guy. Good Luck!
