The antenna is very good  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
The antenna is very good. I tried it on a Yaesu FT-2 the result is exciting, much better in the supplied antenna reception. The comet SMA3 is of excellent workmanship and excellent materials. I recommend buying. Positive experience.

works well  Time owned: 0 to 3 months

I recently purchased the Comet HT 224 antenna for my ICOM 91A handheld, thinking it would allow me to better reach my local NYC repeaters. It turns out that the smaller- and cheaper- SMA-3 antenna is superior, on both transmit and receive. I don't understand why, but that's my experience.

SO FAR GOOD RESULTS !!!  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
BUY IT ! YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED, I COMPARED IT TO MY DIAMOND SRH-519 AND I GOT A BETTER REPORT AT A LONG DISTANCE, LEAVING THE RADIO STILL AND SWITCHING ANTENNAS. BENDING FEATURE IS NEAT WONT POKE YOUR ARMPIT. THE TOP PORTION OF THE ANTENNA IS VERY FLEXIBLE...
