Great improvment  Time owned: more than 12 months
I have a 100W mobile with a SGC237 in a metal box inside of the rear bed of my pickup. On top is a ball mount and 102" whip. Has been great except could not keep tune lock on 75. Added hat between mount and whip with quick disconnect. Now 80 tunes/locks no effort, great reports including imporveme signal reports on 40m.
Simple but effective.

Great  Time owned: more than 12 months
I use the Hot Rodz with a Little Tarheel II, attached to a Comet trunk lip mount, on my the rear hatch lid of my Saturn VUE (only when stationary). Adding the 'Rodz' allows the antenna to resonate at 86 Meters (MARS frequencies) with approx 80 less turns of the loading coil exposed.
