I'm impressed about this tube, I was expecting 1,5kw output of my homebuild amplifier with this tube, but i can drive the amp to deliver over 2kw, exept above 17m the output starts to drop, there is 1,2kw left at 10m.
I use 6kv on the plate, with 75w of drive she delivers between 1,5 and 1,8kw (160 to 20m), 100w is going over 2kw.
being very pleased i did some improvemends in the amp to last this tube for a long time, i have been putting resistance wire into the filament connections to be sur to have a smooth startup for the tube. and i boutght this tube for only 75 euro, thanks to the vendor
