A Truly Great Key !  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
When you see this key in photos, and you know a bit about paddles, your first reaction might be: this looks like a Schurr Profi with Begali finger pieces. When you put them side by side in reality, however, the Schurr looks like a light- weight in comparison, and the ON4MAC surpasses it in several other aspects, too at a much lower price, to boot.

This key uses many constructive elements that can be found only in the best modern paddles: magnetic returns, precision ball bearings, low moving mass. In actual operation it has to be counted among the truly great paddles regardless of price: absolute precision up to the highest speeds (mine anyway) and the closest contact spacing, stable and highly precise adjustments, more than enough mass to keep it rock steady on your table. The finish is flawless in the tradition of other great key makers.

You may have to curb your enthusiasm a little if you want to rush out to get yourself a Christmas present. Michel has built only a handful of them yet, painstakingly one at a time, and hes not too sure yet how much time he can dedicate to building more of them. However, I have never heard him refuse a polite request to be put into his queue

His website is in Flemish and probably not much help unless you speak that language, but the photos are great. His English, however, is perfect, and he has an email address :-)

Creative design  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I did a quick test with PA1HR's MacPaddle and my findings are:
A creative and functional design wih robust precision and a fantastic construction. The key and base are massive brass and the paddles's finger pieces are of aluminium. It is very easy to get what you want. I am using a KENT paddle key but the MacPaddle is the top!

Great paddle; solid, heavy and very good looking!  Time owned: more than 12 months

Since a while I own the MAC-Paddle #006/2005. It's my second one with some personal made improvements.

It is an excellent paddle, made by a real perfectionist.

Michel is a very kind person and always listening to users to make improvements on his straight key and paddle and willing to change things. He has very nice tools to make them.

I use the MAC-Key and the MAC-Paddle. They both have a very nice click and give an excellent feeling.

The paddle is very heavy. He won't move very easily on the table.

I really am very happy with the MAC-Paddle! I enjoy every QSO with it.

Besides that the paddle and straight key of Michel ON4MAC have the right look in my shack.

Michel has no company, but makes keys and paddles for pleasure.

People like Michel are hard to find these days.

Great man; great paddle!

Excellent feel!  Time owned: more than 12 months
I have used many paddle keys during the past years, and I am very satisfied with my Bencher. Yet this key, manufactured in Belgium, is of outstanding quality and beats them all. The feel is very smooth, which is the result of the magnetic system that is used insted of a spring. It is the best key I have ever used. It is a beautiful object in my shack, made of brass and stainless steel bearings. The manufacturer manufactures this key on demand only; until today, no more than approx. five keys were made.
